Yin Yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. The nourishing and restorative nature of Yin Yoga poses can be helpful in balancing the energy of each chakra and rejuvenating the body and mind.


Yin Yoga is a slower and more meditative yoga practice, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. MODULE ONE: Lower Chakras

Lower Body

This 30 minutes sequence will target lower body and first 3 chakras: Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra and Solar Plexus. On a physical level, we will work through legs, hips, stomach, waistline and lower back, therefore activating meridians that run through lower body and are in relation to digestive system and internal organs such as kidneys, liver and gall bladder.

Lower body and lower chakras are related to our physical self and material world. Since majority of our everyday reality is connected to physical and material world, most people will mainly operate from lower chakras.

MODULE TWO: Heart and Throat Chakras

Chest, Shoulders and Neck

Heart chakra is a fourth chakra and connects lower and upper chakras; our physical and spiritual worlds. Physical embodiment of spiritual world and higher frequencies happens through heart’s magnetic field; allowing Pure Love to radiate from your heart space. The heart chakra directly affects the heart, lungs, chest, arms, and hands.

The Throat Chakra is the chakra of communication, self-expression and judgment. Self-expression can be written word, poetry, singing, dancing or any creative expression but also clearly and lovingly communicating our needs and feelings.

MODULE THREE: Upper Chakras

Learn to Relax

In this module we will explore the two upper chakras – Third Eye and Crown Chakra. Third Eye Chakra allows us to see clearly, both – inner and outer worlds. It allows us to access our inner guidance, our intuition; to cut through the illusion and tap into deeper truths. Balanced Third Eye Chakra will allow us to be mindful and to live moment by moment. Having balanced Third Eye Chakra also means having balanced both hemispheres of the brain.

Crown Chakra gives us access to the higher state of consciousness and Universal truth. By opening Crown Chakra we connect to our spiritual self and integration of the whole.

Both, Third Eye and Crown Chakra get activated through relaxation and meditative state; therefore poses in this module will have great focus on relaxation and quieting the mind.

MODULE FOUR: Yoga Nidra

Deep Relaxation

Now that we worked through our physical body, with gentle stretching, opening of body meridians and chakras, absorbing sounds of the harp and relaxing the muscles in Savasana; we are ready for Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.

Yoga Nidra offers deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice.

On a deeper level, Yin Yoga teaches us how to stay comfortable with the uncomfortable, something we can take into our daily lives.

Irina Morrison
Irina has a deep seeded passion for yoga and runs regular weekly sessions, assisting people from all walks of life to improve their well-being and discover the essence of yoga. Her caring nature and service to her students and community is true embodiment of yoga; she can easily find the balance between physical and spiritual to give an understanding of what it means to be human today and to be human together. Creating nurturing environment, Irina leads students onto a profound journey of discovery of their bodies, minds and hearts.

Irina is also involved with the work of UNITY EARTH, a global network on a mission to accelerate the realisation of unity and peace on Earth. Inspired by the world’s wisdom traditions and born out of the desire to meet global-sized challenges with global-sized solutions, UNITY EARTH network is built to amplify the reach and impact of peace-aligned organizations and individuals.

As a Co-founder of Enlightening Journeys and Expeditions, a new venture with a commitment to creating next-level experiences in powerful sacred places that will help people to make further leaps in their spiritual awakening and development; Irina is committed to delivering and facilitating extraordinary vacations from normal routines which will upgrade one’s spirit, soul, body, and mind. Deborah K Bates

As an acclaimed Author and Poet, Deborah also focuses her energies as a Harpist & Singer and Music of the Plants. Her artistic practice hinges upon reflection, sacred practices such as meditation and shamanism, exploration of sacred sites throughout the world, researching sacred texts and sacred sounds, and immersion into various cultures. This has seen her perform and speak in France, New Orleans, Norfolk Island and Australia.

The music Deborah creates incorporates ancient symbols, vibrational healing, and energetic frequencies, the cornerstone of which, is the power of alchemy, ascension cycles, how to elevate personal energies, sacred activation points in the body, sacred spaces within – towards forging a gateway of spiritual transformation. Travelling the world, she visited a number of sacred sites, stones and circles, becoming increasingly fascinated with sound-wave energy and the use of sounds or healing and wellbeing. That sparked an interest to switch her music focus to sacred sounds, mantras, specific intervals and chords and save waves that evoke specific states of being – for healing and wellbeing.

The harp is unique in that, each of the harp strings resonate with every cell in the body and the resonance from the strings, including the range of pitch and tonal colour, set up an important relationship between the sound and the recipient. The sound frequencies directly connect with the human body, and as this communication occurs, harmony and a healthy resonance are restored in the body.
